Adding Google Maps
Adding Google Maps to your site will benefit both you and your customers, providing your visitors with a detailed visual guide on how to find your company.
Adding Google Maps
1. Firstly, add a block which contains a map from the Contact tab in our gallery:
...or as a standalone element from the Elements tab:
2. Also, you can choose the Map element in some existing blocks:
3. Regardless of the way the map has been added, hover over it and click on the "gear" to access the Settings:
4. Click on the Address field in the pop-up window to customize it. The information you enter here will be displayed in the address tool tip:
Note: you can add multiple locations to be displayed on your map by clicking Add location below:
5. Scroll down the settings to choose the Preset — the theme style that will be applied to your map:
6. Open the Map settings section to choose whether the map controls or zoom on scroll will be visible to your site visitors on a live site:
Important: after adding and adjusting the map in the editor, you will need to request and add Google API key for the map to be displayed properly on your live site. You can find further instructions in the article Adding Google API key to Google Maps on your site.
