Adding a Countdown

A countdown block serves for displaying backward counting to indicate the time remaining before an event that is scheduled to occur. Use countdown to announce the discount period or special offer, estimate the time left before the launch of a new product, etc.

Follow the instructions below to see how you can set up the countdown on your site.

Tip: the countdown block suits well for creating a pop-up window. Learn more about the pop-ups functionality in the article Adding and customizing a pop-up.

Adding a countdown

1. Open the blocks gallery in our editor and navigate to the Countdown tab to choose the needed block:

Note: you can also add a countdown element to the existing block on your site. For that, follow the instructions in the article Adding elements.

2. Press on the countdown element to set the final date:

3. To edit the countdown, click on the element itself and press "gear" to access its settings:

4. In the Style tab you can change the countdown type and date options:

5. Navigate to the Content tab in order to rename the countdown labels:

6. Publish your site for the changes to take effect.
