Importing Products into Your Store
Product import is a great feature to upload your products to SiteCliq store. You can use it when moving from another e-commerce platform or when you are just starting your store at SiteCliq and want to upload multiple products in a couple of clicks.
Product import
To start the product import, go to Your Store (1) and click Import (2).

In the pop up window you will be prompted to choose from the following options:
- SiteCliq store (1). Choose this option if you intend to use the SiteCliq template. You can use it when starting with your store or when you are updating your products using the Product export. If you do not have the import/export template of SiteCliq, you can always download this .csv file by clicking the appropriate button (2);
- Other platforms (3). Choose this option if you want to move from another platform to SiteCliq.

Editing the SiteCliq's import/export template

Tip: we recommend using Google Sheets to edit the file.
Let's take a look at the file's structure:

General product settings
- (1) ID - read-only column. ID refers to the URL slug of your product;
- (2) Variant - read-only column. Refers to the number of the product's variant. Each product has at least one variant, event if you haven't added any options yet. The row without a value is the base product, where you can edit the following columns: (3), (4), (5), (11), (12), (13), (14), (15), (16), (18). All other options should be edited in rows where the variant column (2) has a value;
- (3) Name - the name of your product;

Note. Unlike other platforms, import from Prom.ua requires the YML file only. Learn more about how to get the YML file.
Please, follow the instructions on those platforms to download the templates. Once you downloaded the template you can upload it to SiteCliq, using the Other platforms import options.

Note: for both SiteCliq template file and files from other platform the following restrictions apply: the file size should not exceed 10MB and the maximum number of products is 1000.

Important: if some of the other platform's product properties are not supported (they are missing in the SiteCliq' s import/export file, correspondingly), they will be omitted during the import process.
